Melissa is fascinated by energetic intelligence, nervous system care, and self- and collective healing. She is the visionary force behind ELP and also stewards a retreat and residency in Vermont. She completed her BA at Brown University, her MA and PhD at the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California, and her postdoc at UC Irvine. As a former college professor in communication and social change, Melissa brings a strong foundation in research and an insatiable curiosity for understanding the human energy system. She is an independent licensed Ishtara embodiment teacher and a certified Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui and Karuna lineages. She is trained as a Co-Active Coach and holds a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University. Ruth has served on the boards of ALSAC and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for a decade. Nat has a Bachelor’s in Communication, is certified in yoga, trained in EFT/Tapping, and trauma and resilience-informed practices.
